New Duster offers two diesel engines, 85 and 110 horsepower. Both are the result of the Renault Group's absolute best-selling engine - the 1.5l dCi was produced at more than 1 million units in 2012 - they are both very reliable and very robust. They are powerful, economical to buy and to use. They contain technological innovations geared towards improving the engine's energy efficiency, for more efficiency and more pleasure with less consumption.

Depending on your needs, you can choose between two power levels, the dCi 85 available with a 4x2 transmission, or the dCi 110, associated with the 4x4 transmission. The 85hp engine offers a torque of 200 Nm, the 110hp a torque of 240 Nm, even more efficient and providing a more enjoyable driving experience, and even more. 4x4 and all terrain


New Duster exists in 4x2 version with the 1.6 16v 105 and dCi 85. In 4x4, it is associated with the same petrol engine and diesel dCi 110. New Duster is a true all-terrain and has real crossing capabilities ... Equipped with a 21 cm high ground clearance (29.3 ° for the approach angle, 23 ° for the ventral angle and 34 , 9 ° for the angle of escape), it can face all the conditions on road and paths. With its intuitive 4x4 control, it adapts to all situations safely. The 4x4 gearbox is a 6-speed transmission. It is specially adapted to New Duster's off-road capabilities. Its first, short, allows it to evolve at low speed on uneven ground, to start on slope or to pull a heavy load in downhill with a maximum torque. Its compactness and lightness ensure great agility and contribute to its performance. What could be expected from more than a 4x4?

Mode 4x2 is preferably used on roads, in good conditions of adhesion. The torque of the engine is distributed on both front wheels, optimizing the fuel consumption. The AUTO mode automatically distributes the torque between the front and rear axles. You can select it on any type of coating, regardless of the speed of the vehicle and regardless of the adhesion conditions. You get the best compromise between handling and traction. The LOCK mode distributes engine torque between the front and rear axles to optimize the crossing capacity on difficult passages and rough, snowy or sandy surfaces. You benefit from a motor control and a braking adapted to a 4x4 use.
